Graham's Six Grapes Reserve Port (75cl, 20%)

Six Grapes is a non-vintage Reserve Ruby port from W. & J. Graham's, bottled at 20% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The fruit comes from the house's five quintas in Portugal's Douro Valley: Malvedos, Tua, Lages, Vila Velha and Vale de Malhadas. The port is aged for one to two years in seasoned wooden vats at the Vila Nova de Gaia lodge, then bottled young to keep its fresh black-fruit character. The name comes from the old practice of marking barrels with one to six grape symbols, six denoting Vintage Port potential. Full-bodied and fresh, it offers ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum over chocolate and warm spice, with a long, fruit-driven finish.
