Grand Old Parr 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle, made with whisky aged for a minimum of 12 years. It is the standard expression of the Grand Old Parr range and is blended by Diageo. The brand takes its name from Thomas Parr, the English centenarian, and the theme of long life has found a following in Japan and Latin America. The bottle has a crackled-glass finish, intended to suggest the cracking of old parchment. It is described as smooth and approachable.
