Grant's Triple Wood is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in three types of wood rather than a single cask.
Virgin oak adds spicy robustness, American oak a gentle vanilla smoothness and refill bourbon casks a brown sugar sweetness.
The nose is clean, with ripe pear and summer fruits. On the palate, vanilla sweetness sits alongside malt and light floral notes, and the finish is long and sweet with a subtle hint of smoke.
