Grant's Triple Wood Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Grant's Triple Wood is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The blend pairs grain whisky from the Girvan distillery with a selection of single malts, and it is made by William Grant & Sons. It is matured in three types of cask: virgin oak for spice, American oak for vanilla and bourbon refill casks for brown sugar sweetness. The nose shows ripe pear and summer fruits over a gentle malty sweetness. On the palate vanilla comes first, followed by malt, light floral notes, spice and brown sugar. The finish is long and sweet, with a hint of smoke and lingering gentle spice.
