Grant's Triple Wood is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% abv, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in three types of wood rather than one: virgin oak for spicy robustness, American oak for subtle vanilla smoothness and refill bourbon for brown sugar sweetness.
The nose is complex and clean, with ripe pear and summer fruits. On the palate, vanilla sweetness is balanced by malty and light floral notes, and the finish is long and sweet with a subtle hint of smoke.
