Grant's Triple Wood is a blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle. It combines single malts, including whisky from Glenfiddich and The Balvenie, with Girvan grain whisky.
The name refers to its three woods. Virgin oak casks add spice, American oak barrels bring vanilla, and bourbon refill casks contribute brown sugar sweetness.
The nose offers ripe pear, summer fruits, honeyed malt and a light floral note. The palate is soft, with cream, vanilla, apple and cinnamon before malt and caramel. The finish is long and sweet, with honey and a trace of smoke.
