An Italian grappa from Altavilla, aged for 10 years in wooden casks. It has a deep amber colour. The nose offers dried fruit, sweet spice, vanilla and dark chocolate. On the palate it is balanced and soft, with a sweet entry, a slightly spicy and persistently warm finish, and a rich, enveloping texture. It is suited to slow tasting, perhaps with dark chocolate or aged cheeses.
