Grappa Caffo Grappizia Liquirizia (50cl, 40%)

An Italian grappa from the Caffo distillery in Calabria, made from fresh pomace distilled in copper stills using traditional methods. Natural pure liquorice extract is blended into the grappa, giving sweet and slightly bitter liquorice notes. It is clear in colour and has a velvety, harmonious palate where the warmth of the alcohol balances the sweetness of the liquorice. Best served cold as a digestif after a meal, it pairs well with dark chocolate or can be used as a base for cocktails.
