Grappa di Torcolato Amorosa di Dicembre Magnum - Poli (1.5L)

A grappa from Poli, distilled from the pomace of Torcolato, a traditional passito wine of Veneto. It is produced in limited quantity and bottled in a 1.5 litre magnum. Slow distillation preserves the intense aromas and delicate nuances of Torcolato. Ageing in small wooden casks gives it an amber colour and notes of vanilla, almond, honey and dried fruit. On the palate it is enveloping and harmonious, balancing the sweetness of Torcolato with the fresh vigour of grappa, with a long, pleasantly warm finish. It is suited to drinking neat after a meal as a digestif, or as a base for refined cocktails.
