A single cask Deanston from the GreatDrams Single Cask Series, aged 11 years. It was distilled in September 2009 and bottled in October 2021, from a single ex-bourbon cask. The 200 bottles are 48.2% ABV, come in a 50cl size, and are natural in colour and not chill filtered.
The nose offers vanilla pod, honeycomb and soft caramel, with malted barley, baked apple and citrus zest. The palate is creamy and oily, with vanilla fudge, golden syrup, orchard fruit and toasted almonds. The finish is medium to long and warming, with vanilla cream and gentle oak spice.
