This is an 8 year old Highland single malt from Fettercairn, bottled by GreatDrams as part of its Single Cask Series. It was distilled in October 2012 and bottled in June 2021, with an outturn of 200 bottles in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a single ex-bourbon cask and is bottled at 48.2%, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose is fresh and tropical, with pineapple, melon and citrus zest over soft vanilla and honeyed malt. The palate offers creamy vanilla, golden syrup and ripe orchard fruits, and the finish is medium in length and warming, with vanilla cream, sweet malt and peppery oak.
