This is a seven-year-old Glen Moray single malt from Speyside, bottled by GreatDrams as part of its Rare Cask Series. It was distilled in June 2014 and bottled in October 2022 at 48.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon hogshead and is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Glen Moray is one of the favourite distilleries of GreatDrams founders Greg and Kirsty Dillon.
The flavour is described as juicy oak with fresh orchard fruit such as apples and pears, and steady waves of vanilla.
