This is a 12 year old single grain whisky from North British in the Lowlands, bottled by GreatDrams at 48.2% in a 50cl bottle. It belongs to the Single Cask Series and was matured in an ex red wine cask before bottling in October 2023. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
Greg and Kirsty Dillon, who founded GreatDrams, are fond of grain whisky, particularly when it has matured in a cask of this quality. North British Distillery uses its excess heat to warm a local school and sends surplus energy back to the grid.
