Green River Full Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at barrel strength, 58.65% ABV, from a small batch of selected barrels. The mash bill is 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley, and the whisky has a deep golden amber colour. On the nose it is described as cinnamon, dried cherry and light leather. The palate brings warming spice, vanilla, caramel and chocolate-coated peppermints, followed by a rich, lingering finish.
