Green River Wheated is a straight bourbon from Owensboro, Kentucky, bottled at 45% ABV. The mash bill is roughly 70% corn, 21% wheat and 9% malted barley, with wheat taking the place of rye for a softer profile.
It was named Best Overall Bourbon at the 2025 NY World Spirits Competition.
The nose is gentle, with peach, caramel and apricot alongside light cinnamon and vanilla, and a soft pastry note from the wheat. The palate is medium-bodied, with toffee, hazelnut and pastry crust, sweet caramel and vanilla bean, and a little white pepper. The finish is clean and fairly short, with baked bread, light cinnamon, honeyed grain and soft oak.
