Green Spot Chateau Leoville Barton is a single pot still Irish whiskey distilled at Midleton in County Cork and bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill filtered. The spirit first matures in ex-bourbon barrels, ex-Oloroso sherry casks and fresh American oak. It then spends 12 to 24 months in ex-Bordeaux wine casks from the Chateau Leoville Barton estate in Saint-Julien, the first single pot still Irish whiskey finished in Bordeaux casks. The nose shows French oak, floral notes, raspberries, strawberries and orchard fruit over a spicy pot still base. The palate is full-bodied, with baking spices, vanilla, baked pear and a dry, tannic edge. The finish is long, with oak, wine tannins and warm spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
