Green Spot Chateau Montelena Zinfandel Cask Finish is a triple distilled single pot still Irish whiskey, bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is a limited release made as a collaboration with Chateau Montelena.
The whiskey is first matured in American bourbon and sherry casks, then finished in Zinfandel wine casks from the Chateau Montelena winery in Calistoga, Napa Valley.
The nose is ripe red berries and green apple with toasted oak, baking spice and light vanilla. The palate brings orchard fruit, creamy vanilla, gentle spice and soft tannins, and the finish is long and slightly dry, with fruit and oak lingering.
