Green Spot Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Green Spot is an Irish single pot still whiskey from the Midleton distillery, bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted and unmalted barley and is triple distilled. The whiskey is at least eight years old and matures half in new casks and half in ex-bourbon casks. The edition is 12,000 bottles. The nose is fruity, with sweet malt, oak and a little vanilla. The palate brings sweet malt, honey, red berries and spice. The finish is long, sweet at first, then dry and spicy.
