Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey distilled at Midleton Distillery and produced by the Mitchell family, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It is made from malted and unmalted barley, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in bourbon and sherry casks.
Tasting notes describe a nose of orchard fruits, crisp green apple, vanilla and toasted wood. The palate is smooth and creamy, with ripe pear, honey, malt and a touch of spice. The finish is clean and gentle, with soft warmth and a lingering fruity sweetness.
