Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey made at Midleton in County Cork, from malted and unmalted barley triple distilled in copper pot stills. It combines whiskies matured for seven to ten years in bourbon and sherry casks, and comes in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings aromatic oils, spice, orchard fruit and barley, with toasted wood in the background. The palate is full and spicy, with clove, green-apple sweetness and oak. The finish lingers on barley and spice.
