A cognac from Maison Grosperrin, distilled from a selection of grapes in the Charente region of France. It is aged for a long time in traditional oak barriques.
The nose offers ripe fruit, sweet spices such as vanilla and a delicate touch of oak. On the palate it is balanced, with a velvety texture and flavours of candied pear, dried apricot and a light chocolate note. The finish is persistent, with dried fruit and a subtle smoky note.
It is suited to chocolate desserts or as a digestif at the end of an evening, served at room temperature.
