Ha'penny Irish Whiskey

Ha'penny is an Irish whiskey blended from malt and grain whiskey, matured in four different types of cask. The malt component includes whiskey finished in port pipes and whiskey from first-fill bourbon barrels. The grain component comes from sherry butts and double-charred barrels. The nose is rich with oak spice and a hint of nuttiness, alongside dried berries, sweet tropical fruit, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is dry but rounded, with peppered wood spice and dried apricot sweetness that moves towards marzipan, demerara and praline. Vanilla, creme caramel, orange and dark fruit follow, leading to a lingering oak spice finish.
