Ha'Penny Irish Whiskey is a blend of malt and grain whiskeys from Ireland, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV. It brings together four cask types and two styles of whiskey.
The malt is finished in port and pipe and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, while the grain comes from sherry butts and a double charred barrel.
The nose has oak, warm wood spice, nuttiness, dried berries and hints of tropical fruit, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is dry yet rounded, with peppered spice and dried apricot, and the finish brings vanilla, crème caramel, orange and lingering oak spice.
