Hakushu 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary is a Japanese single malt created to mark the 100th anniversary of Suntory Whisky. It is made from a selection of malt whiskies, each aged for at least 12 years in a range of carefully chosen casks. The label illustration shows the Hakushu distillery in soft shades of green, a nod to the forest around it on Mount Kaikomagatake. Peat is used in the whisky, and the mountain water is filtered through ancient granite. The result is described as smoky, fresh and delicate.
