Hakushu – 12 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Hakushu 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt whisky made by Suntory at the Hakushu Distillery, in the forests of the Japanese Alps. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky has matured for 12 years in a combination of American oak, sherry casks and Japanese Mizunara oak. It is usually described as fresh and herbal, with subtle smoky notes, layers of fruit, gentle peat and a crisp green character.
