The 2024 edition of Hakushu's Story of the Distillery series is a Japanese single malt bottled at 43%, with natural colour and without chill-filtration. Its label shows the recently renovated distillery building, and it comes in the brand's green bottle. Hakushu stands at 700 metres in the Southern Alps and was founded in 1973. This bottling is a vatting of malt whiskies matured only in bourbon casks. It is described as light, sweet and gently smoky.
