- American white oak barrel, Char #4
This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Hand Barrel, bottled at 52.5% (105 proof) and not chill-filtered, which keeps the natural oils in the spirit.
It matured in American white oak barrels charred to Char #4, and is bottled at the same 105 proof at which it went into the barrel.
The nose is vanilla, oak and winter spice. On the palate, vibrant vanilla oak gives way to warming cinnamon and clove. The finish is fiery and bold, with a subtle hint of sweetness.
