Hanyu – 1990/2007 Single Malt Jack of Spades (70cl, 54.2%)

This is a single malt from Hanyu, distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2007 at 54.2% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a new American oak hogshead, and 349 bottles were produced. It is the Jack of Spades in the Card series, released under the Ichiro's Malt name by Ichiro Akuto's Venture Whisky. Venture Whisky took over the remaining Hanyu casks after the distillery stopped production in 2000. The Card series runs to 58 releases, each with a playing card label.
