This is a 20-year-old Japanese single malt from Hanyu, a distillery that has since closed. It was distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2011 by Ichiro Akuto at a cask strength of 57%, in a 70cl bottle. It was vatted from two quarter casks, known as "chibidaru", and reportedly 200 bottles were filled.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
