Hard Truth Sweet Mash Four Grain Bourbon

This is a four grain bourbon from Hard Truth Distilling Co. of Nashville, Indiana, made by the sweet mash method. Each batch starts from a fresh mixture of grains, water and yeast, with no previously fermented mash added, unlike the more common sour mash. The distillery began in 2015 as a small project run by entrepreneurs who owned a pizza restaurant in the town. A new facility on a 325-acre property followed, and distilling began there in 2018.
