Hardin's Creek Colonel 2 Year Bourbon

Hardin's Creek Colonel 2 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged for just two years. Its short maturation is down to the method: a longer fermentation, and a lower distillation proof when the spirit comes off the still. Col. James B. Beam is credited with this approach, which is said to give a depth of flavour more often found in older bourbons. The colour is amber gold. The nose is robust, with vanilla and caramel. The palate is deep and complex, with vanilla, nuts and oak, leading to a long, full finish.
