Harvey's Bristol Cream is a cream sherry in a one-litre bottle from the 1970s. The style was developed in the company's cellars by the sons of John Harvey between the 1860s and 1880s, and it became the firm's main product.
The blend starts with wines from fifty different soleras, covering Fino, Amontillado and Oloroso. Pedro Ximénez from sun-dried grapes is added last for sweetness and for the richness, or creaminess, of the aftertaste. Palomino from the company's estate vineyards in Jerez Superior is the main grape.
