A revival of a Victorian English gin style, made from a family recipe dating to the 1870s. Botanicals include juniper, liquorice root and catmint, gently distilled to preserve their aromas. It is clear and bright. The nose balances juniper sweetness with aromatic herb and spice notes. On the palate it is round and soft, with honey-like sweetness, citrus and spice echoes, and a long, pleasantly complex finish. Enjoy neat over ice or in classic cocktails such as the Martinez or Tom Collins.
