Hazelburn 7 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask is a Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery, matured for seven years in Oloroso sherry casks. Hazelburn is the unpeated, triple-distilled style made there.
It is bottled at 47.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration, and was limited to 9,000 bottles.
The nose brings maraschino cherries, fudge, treacle and dates. The palate offers brown sugar, ginger and raisins, and the finish recalls sticky toffee pudding and black currant.
