This Hazelburn is a 7 year old single malt matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. It was distilled in June 2018 and bottled in March 2026 at 47.9% ABV, in an outturn of 9,000 bottles.
The nose combines sweet maraschino cherries, creamy fudge and molasses, with overripe dates and buttery sherry notes arriving gradually. The palate is creamy and soft, with brown sugar, overripe raisins, redcurrant jelly and candied ginger alongside fine spice. The finish is long and sweet, with the caramel of sticky toffee pudding and a late note of tarragon.
