This is a seven year old Bottled-in-Bond bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof).
It was aged in new charred American oak barrels and is made from a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley. It was first released in 2019 as the successor to the Kentucky-only six year old Bottled-in-Bond.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, roasted nuts and seasoned oak. The palate has brown sugar, toffee, honey and light rye spice. The finish is medium to long, with oak, pepper and lingering sweetness.
