This is a 7-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled in bond at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was distilled and bottled by Heaven Hill, which launched its Bottled-in-Bond expression in 1939.
It belongs to the Artist Series, and the label carries watercolour artwork by Kentucky artist Bri Bowers, illustrating places from the distillery's history.
On the nose there is vanilla bean, charred oak and toasted sugar. The palate brings caramel, nutmeg and butterscotch with a touch of spice, followed by a long, warming, oak-driven finish with a balanced sweetness.
