This is Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon, aged for a minimum of 7 years and bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. The Artist Series dresses it in watercolour label illustrations by Kentucky artist Bri Bowers, showing landmarks and places tied to Heaven Hill's distilling history.
The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and a hint of baking spice. On the palate come honey, butterscotch and charred oak, balanced by subtle rye spice. The finish is long and warming, with sweet corn and pepper.
