Bootleg Series Volume V is the 2023 annual release from Heaven's Door: an 18 year old straight bourbon finished in Spanish vermouth rouge casks. It is bottled at 114 proof (57% ABV).
Each bottle in the series is a hand-crafted ceramic bottle decorated with one of Bob Dylan's original paintings. This one carries No Vacancies, 2019, from The Beaten Path collection, which celebrates Dylan's own well-travelled path across the USA. It comes in a bespoke leather journal.
The palate is well balanced, with caramel, honey and vanilla, leading to a clean, pleasant and lingering finish.
