Heaven's Door – Double Barrel (70cl)

Heaven's Door Double Barrel is an American whiskey from the range launched by Bob Dylan. It blends three whiskeys: two Tennessee bourbons and a rye, each aged separately for six years in a mix of first-fill oak and ex-bourbon casks. The blend then spends a further year in new, heavily toasted American oak, and is charcoal filtered. The bottle is decorated with an ornamental iron gate made at Dylan's studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks. The nose offers maple, hazelnut, vanilla and toasted wood. The palate is soft and balanced between woody and spicy notes, with dried fruit, caramel, coconut and vanilla in the background.
