Heaven's Door Straight Bourbon is the flagship of the brand Bob Dylan created with master blender Ryan Perry, launched in 2018. It is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration.
The bourbon is distilled and aged in Tennessee for a minimum of six years in new charred American oak. It is a sour mash made from about 70% corn, with the remaining 30% rye and malted barley.
The nose brings baked bread, dried fruit, buttered popcorn and vanilla, with orange and honey. The palate is smooth and full, with caramel and vanilla over toasted oak and touches of cinnamon, nutmeg and baking spice. The finish is long, warm and gently sweet.
