Heaven's Door Whiskey Cask Strength is a single cask straight bourbon, filled into 192 bottles of 750ml at 59.21% ABV. Heaven's Door was created by Bob Dylan together with Marc Bushala, who was behind Angel's Envy Bourbon.
The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% barley. The whisky matured for six years in a new American oak barrel with a number 3 char before being bottled at cask strength.
The nose has fresh mint, digestive biscuits, marzipan, cinnamon and Christmas spices. The palate is sweet and full, with cherry, Madagascar vanilla, mocha, caramelised fruit and a touch of coconut, with an oily texture.
