Hendrick's Gin (75cl, 44%)

Hendrick's Gin is a Scottish gin from Girvan in South Ayrshire, made in small batches and distilled in Carter-Head and Bennett copper pot stills. It is bottled at 44% in a 75cl bottle. Eleven botanicals go into it, including cucumber and rose petals, and juniper does not dominate the result. That leaves room for the more delicate flavours, and makes it suited to both classic and inventive cocktails. The nose is floral and citrus, with the freshness of cucumber and a faint sweetness from the rose. On the palate it is refreshing and complex.
