Hennessy XO Lunar New Year Shuting Qiu Edition is a special release of the Cognac house's XO, a blend first created in 1870 by Emile Fillioux for Maurice Hennessy. This edition marks the Year of the Snake, with a design by Shuting Qiu inspired by Chinese silk artistry, in a red-to-purple satin finish with floral patterns.
The cognac is deep amber with copper highlights. The nose offers dried fruit, dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and subtle oak. The palate is velvety, with prunes, figs, roasted nuts and black pepper, and the long, warm finish leaves cocoa, spice and leather.
