Henri Giraud Esprit Nature Brut Champagne (75cl)

This is a Brut Nature champagne from Henri Giraud, built on the 2017 vintage with around 50% drawn from the house's perpetual reserve. It was disgorged in January 2020. The wine is fermented in barrels, and roughly 20% of the blend comes from domaine holdings. On the nose there are yellow orchard fruit and peach, with toasted bread, candied peel, white flowers, clear honey and fresh almonds. The palate is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, elegantly vinous with lively acidity. The finish is long and delicately touched by oak.
