Henry McKenna Single Barrel 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, bottled at 50% (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. Each bottle is drawn from a single barrel, and the whisky has matured in new charred American oak for ten years.
It is bottled in bond, meeting the requirements of one distiller, one distillery and one distilling season, and it exceeds the four-year minimum in a bonded warehouse. It was named Best in Show Whiskey at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel and oak with a light herbaceous note. The palate is smooth oak with sharp spices and honey, and the finish is long, sweet and spicy.
