Henry McKenna Single Barrel Bottled in Bond is a ten-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, produced by Heaven Hill in Bardstown, Kentucky. It meets the standards of the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897 and is bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Each release comes from a single barrel, so the character varies a little from one to the next. The mash bill is mainly corn, with malted barley and rye. The nose and palate bring warm vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and soft baking spice, with hints of honey, dried apple and light herbal notes. The finish is long, with sweet wood, gentle pepper and lingering warmth.
