Red Hackle is a blended Scotch whisky from Hepburn & Ross Ltd., dating from the 1930s and sold in a 75cl bottle. The brand won the First Prize Medal at the Brewers' Exhibition (the Brewers and Allied Trades Exhibition) in London in 1929. It promoted the win actively, and the medal became a prominent feature of its bottle labels for decades.
