Herradura Añejo is matured for 25 months in American white-oak barrels. It pours a deep amber hue, with rich cooked agave, warm oak, vanilla, caramel, toasted nuts and subtle dried-fruit undertones on the nose. The palate is smooth and full, combining mellow agave sweetness with dried fruit, caramel, chocolate or cocoa and gentle spice. The finish is long and balanced, with lingering oak and spice warmth and a soft, creamy after-taste.
