Hibiki 12 Year Old

Hibiki 12 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, made from 30 different Japanese grain and malt whiskies. It first appeared in 2009 to mark the 110th anniversary of Suntory. Hibiki means 'harmony' in Japanese. The bottle has 24 facets, said to represent the 24 seasons of the old Japanese sekki tradition, and the label is made from handmade bamboo paper. The whisky is a bright amber. The nose offers berries, coconut, citrus and sherry, with a floral side and notes of vanilla and honey. The palate is sweet, with exotic fruit, apple and citrus. The finish is of medium length, soft and spicy.
